The book explores the status, the source and the merits of Dua Kumayl which is a special Dua that belongs to the private domain of out Ae'mmah. Amil al Mumineen (as) gave it as a gift to his close companion, Kumayl, who wrote it down. It has reached us through authentic sources, dating back to the fifth century.
Dua is a means of approach to Allah (swt) to get closer to Him. The Quran contains over 80 verses relating to Dua. Those who do not raise their hands for Dua are condemned as arrogant to burn in the Hell fire forever.
Dua Kumayl is dynamic in that it can generate spiritual force in our hearts; bring about tranquility of mind and a sense of contentment and ecstasy.
